What is Kursi?
Kursi is a compact, passive deodorizer made for refrigerators and other small enclosed spaces. It is designed to support odor control between regular cleanings without requiring electricity, batteries, or a charging routine.
How does it work without power?
The openings across the top and center band keep the internal odor-control material exposed to the surrounding air. There is no fan, motor, switch, or electrical component to operate.
Does it cover odors with a strong fragrance?
No. Kursi is intended to support a more neutral-smelling space instead of masking unwanted smells with a strong added scent.
How quickly should I notice a difference?
Timing varies with the size of the space, airflow, and the source and strength of the odor. Remove spoiled food and wipe up spills first, then allow Kursi several days in an open position. Persistent odors may require finding and cleaning the source.
Placement and everyday use
Where should I place it in my refrigerator?
Place it upright on a stable, open shelf. Leave a little space around the perforations instead of pressing it tightly against containers or a refrigerator wall. Keep it away from standing liquids and areas where it could be knocked over.
Can I use Kursi outside the refrigerator?
Yes. It can also be placed in dry, enclosed areas such as a pantry, cabinet, vehicle, wardrobe, or gym cubby. A separate unit is recommended for each distinct space.
Does it replace refrigerator cleaning?
No. Kursi supports odor control after visible messes are handled. Continue removing spoiled food, wiping up spills, cleaning shelves, and following normal refrigerator-care practices.
Will it make food last longer?
Kursi helps support a fresher-smelling refrigerator, but it is not a substitute for safe food storage and does not change expiration dates. Always refrigerate food promptly, use suitable containers, maintain the correct refrigerator temperature, and discard spoiled food.
How do I care for it?
Keep the unit dry. When needed, carefully wipe the exterior with a clean, dry cloth. Do not wash, soak, immerse, open, disassemble, or strike the product.
How large is Kursi?
Each unit is approximately 7 cm wide, 7 cm deep, and 8 cm tall, with an approximate weight of 208 g. Its compact footprint is designed to fit beside everyday refrigerator items.
